The San Francisco Zoo offers free admission to San Francisco Residents on certain days of the year. Proof of San Francisco residency is required and can be estiblished by providing:
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid identification card
- A utility bill, phone or other local bill that has your name and address, along with a current valid photo I.D.
GETTING THERE: The Muni 18-46th Ave & 23-Monterey bus lines are the most direct to the zoo. Zoo entrance is Sloat Blvd & The Great Highway.
