Thank you for registering early for the 2014 Access Now Regional Power Summit in San Francisco! I am writing you today to inform you that the date for the summit will be changed until the end of February 2014. Registration for the summit has been temporarily closed.
The DOnetwork strives to work with disability community members and partners to provide the best possible experience for participants at our events. We believe that with a little more planning time the 2014 Access Now Regional Power Summit can be even better and meet the needs of more people.
In the coming days we will be confirming the new date with our host location, the San Francisco Public Library. Once confirmed, we will announce the date and reopen registration. When you receive this announcement by email please make sure to re-register at www.disabilityorganizing.net.
We apologize in advance if this has caused any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact me directly at (916) 325-1690, ext. 337.
I am looking forward to seeing you at the summit!
Onward,
Ted Jackson

2014 Access Now Regional Power Summits
REGISTRATION IS OPEN! https://disabilityorganizing.net/event/power-summit.php
Join your fellow DOnetwork members and community partners for a FREE one-day summit to organize our Access Now Campaigns in 2014. Together we will address the next steps to advance access to our communities for better independence where we live, work, learn, shop and play.
In the morning session we will focus on issues important to people with disabilities that will drive the 2014 elections, with break-outs to learn skills for turning out the disability vote. The afternoon session will build on the campaign plan developed at last year’s summit, including action planning time to continue working for increased community access. Join us at a summit near you!
